Vision/Mission

About Community Dialogue [CD]
We are a community organisation whose primary aim is to provide advice and support to troubled families particularly young people in Greenwich/Bexley area. We are currently working with several organisations to establish and develop a Digital Youth Hub for the teaming population of youth who are predominantly NEET. The Youth Hub is a place where young people can simply turn up for advice and support in a safe and secure environment. Within the hub young people (14 – 30 inclusive) are able to get support from a team with conspicuous youth participation and also has a wide range of experience and expertise.
A significant proportion of the work of our organisation is for the benefit of young people, with a particular focus on those aged 14-25 who are in precarious positions and struggling to make critical life transitions because of disadvantage and lack of resources, social exclusion, and stigma. Some of them also face challenges in accessing help and support. Our goal is to enable them to create or take up opportunities to reach their full potential.
Impact
We are having a positive impact and have potential to achieve more – perhaps through replication of the organisation’s approach, but also through spreading practice and knowledge, and influencing policy.
We are committed to using data and evidence from recent/ongoing activities to improve outcomes and increase the organisation’s impact on its focus community.
Our approach and values
Our approach seeks to build on and develop young people’s strengths and talents, helping them to reach their potential.
We are strongly committed to youth participation and voice and working in partnership with young people and other organisations that share our core values.
We support young people to understand and realize their rights and entitlements.
We seek to collaborate with others to improve the lives of young people, including working across sector boundaries.
